it would be much cleaner to roll our own, which we will do

4. re lightning, agree. I started solidpay to do this, but there was little appetite for the integration from the management team. It may land in a few years, perhaps it will need to become a REC first. But the DID people may make political objections that slow things down. We will see.

- One could post to a REST bridge, which could be useful for scalilng, nostr is extensible via nips

- same with query

- the simplicity has turned out to be popular with developers, so there are trade-offs
