Possibly one of the most sophisticated…

Possibly one of the most sophisticated words in Sanskrit, or any other language. It could be thought of as existence. In Hinduism, Brahman (the ultimate reality) is Atman (individual soul). In alchemy, "As above, so below". A western materialism take in Descartes cogito "I think therefore I am". Or as Joseph Campbell put it: "inner world is outer world, and outer world is inner world".

Philosophers like Jordan Petersen simplify Campbell by saying that he said "follow your bliss". That misses the bigger context. He was following:

Sat (existence) - Chit (conciousness) - Ananda (Bliss)

Which is the Hero's Journey. He said he didnt know what Sat was, and didnt know what Chit was. So all that remains is Bliss. Both Sat and Chit are two of the words that are impossible to clothe in finite langue without minsunderstandings. And those misunderstandings cause conflicts.

Its appropriate that Sat, one of the most compilcated words in all of language becomes the native unit of account, for the whole internet.
