You can host it on your own server in multiple ways. And it's local first anyway. There is a great web front end, but without plugins right now.
Sync is alpha right now, yes
But if you are technical you can use syncthing, which I do. You could use sshfs too.
Logseq is the future, if you invest some time with plugins and stuff, you wont regret it. Get into the journal way of thinking, there's so much to it, even AI integration
I intend to make tools such as nostr integration, gamificaiton and some sync stuff
I also have obsidian and appflowy but dont use them.
Give logseq a try, by the time you're into it, they'll probably have a decent sync set up.
